Occupational Therapist

I am a Workwell certified occupational therapist (B.Occ.Ther.) with an interest in vocational rehabilitation, functional capacity evaluations, and medico-legal work. In addition to my occupational therapy training, I hold a second undergraduate degree in geography (B.Sc.), a degree that exposed me urban planning, human population trends, human culture, statistics, and spatial data analysis. I also hold two post-graduate degrees in zoology (B.Sc. Hons. and M.Sc.). These post-graduate degrees exposed me to research, data analysis, and scientific reasoning. Overall, I am a very curious individual who not only enjoys learning new things but also teaching what I have learned to others. At Van Heerden an Human Occupational Therapists I am responsible for motivating PMB applications, quality control, conducting cognitive and psycho-social evaluations at BloemCare, and injury on duty evaluations at the practice.
